Ride With Love, Ride With Caution

Rider in red and white leathers knee-down on a Ducati at the track

Motorcycle is not just machine. For me, for my son, for many of us — it is passion, it is freedom, it is lifestyle. When you ride, you feel alive, like nothing else in the world can give you.

But with this freedom comes responsibility. Two nights ago, my own son got into wreck on his motorcycle. Thank God he is here with me, but this was reminder — no matter how much you love the ride, you cannot forget the risk.

Every time you get on bike, you need to respect it. Wear full gear — helmet, jacket, gloves, boots, pads. Do not ride thinking you are invincible. I tell my son this, I tell myself this, and now I tell you. One mistake, one bad driver not paying attention, can change everything in second.

We ride because we love it. We ride because it makes us feel free. But love must also mean discipline. It means making sure we come home after every ride.

So when you throw your leg over that bike, remember: protect yourself, watch out for others, and ride smart. The road is not only yours — it’s shared with people who don’t see you.

Motorcycle is love. Motorcycle is life. But safety is survival. And survival is what lets you keep riding tomorrow.
